Tournament Format and basic rules

  • Age restrictions - 14 year and older

  • Every player must sign the online waiver

  • Playing Roster shall consist of 8 players

  • 2 extra players are allowed on the roster to rotate

  • Each innings shall be played for 6 overs. Semi-final and finals played for 8 overs.

  • Games shall be played at an Indoor turf field with full length pitch

  • Tennis ball shall be used

  • All the required equipment is provided. You can bring your abdomen guard

  • Choice of an innings is decided by a toss which shall be completed 5 min before the start of the game time

  • If the team does not show up for the toss, game shall be forfeited and the other team wins

  • Live YouTube streaming is available for your loved one to watch. You tube link will be shared before the games

  • Winners and runners up trophies will be awarded

 

Game By-Laws

  • Umpire decision is the final

  • In case of a conflict, only the captains are allowed to discuss with the umpire

  • Batters shall bat in pairs for a maximum of 2 over and rotate with the next pair at the end of 2 overs

  • Batters shall continue batting for 2 overs even after the dismissal

  • Each wicket/dismissal carries a 2 run penalty

  • Once the ball has hit the boundary wall for a 4 or 6 runs, it’s considered dead and no further play is valid

  • The LBW dismissal will not be a valid wicket

  • The ball shall be dead if it becomes stuck or trapped in any netting, gym equipment, or other obstruction in the field of play

  • Each over consists of 6 balls and each player can bowl a maximum of 1 over

  • A substituted player can also bowl

  • Considering the small indoor field, rules for securing runs will be explained by the umpire at the field before starting the games.
